-Parents and older siblings will also be turned away.

-The vaccine is not licensed for babies younger than six months old.

-To qualify, children must be under five years old on Nov. 1. Babies must be six months old when they arrive at the clinic. Birth certificates or other documents to prove age will be required.

Friday

-Unadjuvanted shots--doses without a specific additive--will be available for pregnant women beginning Friday.

-If pregnant mothers arrive at a clinic Thursday and want the regular shot with the additive, it will be made available. No proof of pregnancy is required.

Weekend

-Clinics will remain open to these two groups, who are most at risk of developing serious health complications from the flu that could land them in intensive-care units or kill them.

-Health officials are still determining who should be in the next priority group to receive the shots. The general public won't have access to the vaccine until the province's vaccination supply is back to full capacity.
